Last Day in Singapore - 23rd May

Our last day in Singapore today!

Chilled out at the hotel in the morning after a busy couple of days.

The boys had their first go on the subway with a quick visit to Chinatown.

Later that night we visited the Singapore Zoo for the night safari!

Amazing tram ride see all the animals in the jungle like setting. No animal photos thought I'm afraid as no flashes allowed!

On to London tomorrow!!

Universal Studios - 22nd May

 Universal Studios - Harry's Birthday Today!!!

Spent the whole day at Universal Studios going from ride to ride!

In Harry's words - "this is the best day of my life!"

Amazing rides and sights - highlights were:

- The Battlestar Galactica ride
- Revenge of the Mummy Ride
- Transformers 4D
- Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure (we all got wet - several times!)
- Shrek 4D Movie

+ plenty more

Exhausted by the end of the day but still time for a swim in the hotel pool on the 8th floor before bed!

A great day - Happy birthday Harry!

Sentosa Island - 21st May

Spent today exploring Sentosa Island - plenty of awesome sights and experiences!

Underwater World Sentosa - watched the dolphin and sea lion show and explored the underwater world on the travelator.

Saw heaps of cool fish the boys got to touch stingrays in the close up pool.

Later they both got to hold a python too!

I-Fly Singapore - simulated skydiving in the 50 foot glass tower.

Tarsha was a natural and has the bug for the real thing now!

Hot dog time!

Other highlights at Sentosa:

- Bird and Butterfly Park (+creepy insect caves)
- The Merlion

Even visited the Kiwi Icecream Shop for a taste of home!

On Our Way - 20th May

Left NZ on 20th May - good flights and the boys enjoyed their individual screens for plenty of game time...

Arrived in Singapore to 30C heat - wonderful after leaving NZ at about 3C in the morning in Palmy!!

Checked in safely to our hotel and looking forward to the adventures ahead.

Moving Out!

We have moved out of home now and are living with Tarsha's parents for three weeks before we leave NZ. House settlement is on 14th May - just a bit of final packing and cleaning to go now!

Selling Up!

Our house in Albert St. Palmerston North is sold!!!

Settlement date is 14th May so we will be busy preparing for our travels.

We will build a new house when we get back from Europe!

Passports

All our passports have now arrived and we are getting ready to go!

Only two months left before we start our travels.
